Meet Lisa Sommer-Balog

Lisa Sommer, MA, CCC-SLP/TSHH is the Founder and Chief Speech-Language Pathologist of Kiddo Communication and has over 10 years of experience helping children develop with confidence.

Lisa specializes in speech and language delays, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, feeding and oral-motor challenges, and social communication skills for infants through high school-aged children. She is PROMPT-trained and known for her ability to support even the most complex cases with warmth, creativity, and proven strategies.

Therapy at Kiddo Communication is always personalized, play-based, and family-centered, with a strong focus on real-life progress. Lisa partners closely with parents, school administrators, teachers, and all supporting coaches in each client’s life, to ensure skills carry over into everyday routines—at home, at school, and beyond.
